Chai Tea and Honey Bee's

Morning Sunshine! If you’ve managed to shake off last nights hangover and scrape yourself out of bed before midday, it’s well worth then walk  down to The Bondi Organic Farmers Markets conveniently located in Bondi Public school on Campbell Parade.

There’s something about strolling around in the sunshine listening to an acoustic guitar that makes me want to smell the roses and buy some fresh baby spinach. It’s a great local atmosphere with lots of “hey’s” and “hi’s” as you walk around chai tents and fresh honey stalls.

Bondi Farmers Markets

The Saturday Farmers markets gives you a warm fuzzy feeling of being a part of such a rad community. After dropping off our old kitchen knives off for a friendly sharpen by the Knife lady and downing a free sample of Apple Cider, we had both a buzz for life and adventure all before 11am.

Harris Farm Opens Organic Bar

Harris Farm OrganicHold onto your horseradishes! Harris Farm Bondi has opened with a crispy crunch, dedicating a small section of the new supermarket to an organic produce bar.

Locals didn’t know what to expect when the shopping spectacular moved to the beach, but we have all been delighted by the rows of colour coordinated apples, and the constant flow of free food samples. It’s great to see that behind every truck loads of fruit and veg, there is also place in store for promoting organic produce to the wider community.

Harris Farm has brought new life to the upper end of Hall St. We continue to support the local little guys but it’s comforting to know that the trek up to the Junction is no longer essential when you can’t find that gluten free treat at 9pm in the convenience store.

Welcome to The Bondi Organic!

ImageHey there world!

How are things? Have we you had your soy chai-tea latte this morning and are ready to take on the day? Yes you are!

My name is Teena, I am a North Bondi local lady and a lover of the beach, a committed organic eater, natural healer and wellness enthusiast. I am studying Naturopathy and learning lots of magical things about the human body (that old chestnut) and ways we can save the world one kale leaf at a time.

I would love the opportunity to take you with me on my organic journey around the backyard and down to the beach. I will be reviewing our local organic cafe’s, restaurants, supermarkets and new alternative products in the hood, answering any questions you may have along the way on natural health.

Bondi is such an epic place to see and swim, but we are also so lucky to be surrounded by an abundance of tasty treats and inspirational human beings that make you want to jump out of bed in the morning and chug a green smothie and go for a surf.  I look forward to getting to know more of these people and experience the place I call home.

See you in the water!
